Job Description

Responsibilities: Develops/builds IT solutions to meet business requirements. Installs and configures solutions. Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework. Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology. Develop pipeline/scripts for automated environment provisioning Establish CI/CD pipeline for applications Sets up and maintains the environments for both development and testing Maintains new and existing object reference files. Performs script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations. Designs, develops, and implements reusable components. Develops, executes, and documents test plans. Establish automation testing cadence Codes and documents custom test automation frameworks. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering team, solving complex business problems together Evaluate & build different compute frameworks for all tiers Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or military experience At least 5 years’ experience in developing applications embracing Agile principles At least 1 years’ experience with a formal version control tool (Subversion, Git, Team Foundation Server, or ClearCase) At least 2 years with large-scale infrastructure designs, implementation, and support At least 3 years’ experience in Java development and Angular JS At least 3 years’ experience in developing automation workflows and routines, using Open Source Tools (Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Ruby, Cucumber, Selenium) Docker Experience At least 2-year experience in using cloud based hosting solutions (AWS-EC2/S3, Azure, Cloud) At least 2 years’ experience with Automation/Configuration management using either Chef, Ansible or an equivalent Strong knowledge in Apache, Tomcat Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Linux/Unix, server automation and scripting Experience with large-scale software implementation (high transaction volume, high-availability concepts) At least 1-year experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus) Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
