Job Description: • This position is accountable for all functions through the initial review of the On-boarding process to assure that physicians meet the health plan's requirements for employment as a contracted physician. • Processes provider applications by reviewing for credentialing, loading, and contract requirements. • Ensures compliance with Client, NCQA, and state mandates as defined by our policy and procedures. • Gathers provider’s information, updates customer workflow tool, and communicates with providers by phone, email, or mail regarding On-boarding status and missing information needed. • Discrepancies associated with provider information submitted may require telephonic outreach to validate and verify health care professional’s credentials.

Job Requirements

Skills: • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Computer literate in MS Office products. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and strong time management skills. • The candidate must be able to work independently, demonstrate good critical thinking skills, and be able to learn and apply quickly in a fast pace work environment. Education: • High School Diploma or GED required.
