Job Description

Responsible for the management and maintenance of Clients production network environment, a 7,000-node enterprise services delivery system including three datacenters and seven branch offices, encompassing the whole of 5,000+ associate domestic workforce. Perform emergency troubleshooting on a 24x7 basis, along with chronic issue analysis, security review, and vendor liaison services. Provide periodic capacity analysis for all of the production environments. Make regular recommendations as to system upgrades, both software and hardware. Work with other teams within the respective customers to ensure maximum uptimes and prevent potential issues.

Job Requirements

CCNA, WAN Successfully deployed a fully-meshed, multi-vendor redundant MPLS WAN, replacing an existing point-to-point network, with the achieved goal of 100% service availability. Completed conversion of the managed datacenter infrastructure to a multi-site redundant, active-active datacenter implementation with multi-gigabit capacity, full redundancy for all systems with a zero-downtime failover architecture, and a 10-year life cycle for all components, deploying the latest in server and network virtualization technologies, on time and under budget. Performed architecture analysis and new network design for so as to create a full disaster recovery environment that would scale to host the entirety of internal systems and Managed the deployment of a PCI-compliant network infrastructure from client to server, deploying technologies such as Cisco Identity Services Engine port-level security, dynamic VLAN assignment based on Active Directory credentials, branch office firewalls with multiple security access levels based on user group definitions, and a server environment secured according to the PCI Data.
