Job Description

The Buyer role is an intricate part of our Supply Chain Organization, assisting X Robotics Supply Chain Team. This position supports tactical purchasing activities and project specific initiatives (i.e. reporting, analytics, process development) in a Buyer role. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 1. Place a high volume of orders for various types of commodities and provide a high level of Customer Service for internal customers. 2. Resolve Accounts Payable issues for Purchase Orders (PO.) 3. Communicate w/Suppliers, Engineering and other Staff members Additional Responsibilities: • Work with new Suppliers to enroll and set them up as approved Suppliers • Follow up on open purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate with internal customers to resolve receiving and accounts payable discrepancies. • Keeps management advised of significant procurement and purchasing issues and potential problem areas. • Regularly reconcile credit card purchases and expense purchases to the appropriate project coding/expense account. • Ensure compliance with finance, legal, accounting and ethics policies and guidelines. • Work with vendors and the engineering team to obtain appropriate import/export documentation Skill/Experience/Education: • Mandatory 2-5 years in a Buyer role • Experience with toolbox and/or Excel • Familiarity with multiple operating systems and web based applications • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel Desired • BS degree in Business Administration or Similar • Oracle experience • Proficient in Office or Docs and Drive
