Job Description

Project Focus:  Right now they are building out a massive ERP system (going live Feb 4th). They have Salesforce on the Back-end being built, and In-house Middleware, and then SAP on the back-end. Right now there is a ton of information that is silo'd and not uniform. They are? hiring these Instructional designers/technical writers to make sure all of this documentation and information is combined.

Day to day:  
  • Attend working sessions to capture processes and develop system and process training
  • Ensure that all training material follow design and development standards, adult learning principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the accurate translation of learning objectives into teaching materials
  • Create PowerPoint, Slide training content
  • Create job aids
  • Create Walkme simulations
  • Strong technical experience and ability to understand and communicate technical documentation knowledge, tools and skills.
  • Develop, gather and disseminate technical information among customers, designers, and other stakeholders
Must Haves:
  • 5 years experience of Instructional Design/Technical Writing for high tech industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
Desired (VERY IMPORTANT, look for this first):
  • Experienced in Instructional Design/Technical writing on an ERP application such as SAP
  • Experienced in Instructional Design/Technical writing on a CRM such as Salesforce
  • Experienced in Instructional Design/Technical writing on a Middleware
